Do NOT try spinach. It seems fine going in, but you'll totally regret it on the way out.

What about avocados? They're full of good fats and potassium! Also try soybeans. I saw a recipe recently that combined soybeans (shelled edamame) and pineapple.

Personally, as a working Mom I have not tried to make food for my son. I buy the jarred stuff, but they still have fun flavors as well. He's has guava, papaya, ginger chicken among others...

Just explore a bit and see what the kid likes!

there used to be this organic baby food that had pumpkin in it. My son LOVED it! That's all he'd eat for a long time. I noticed recently (since I'm now expecting #2) that it's no longer made.

Why do you need unique food? Ordinary food works just fine.

Unique is asking a bit much!
How about papaya and banana, lots of godness in there, or for savoury - yogurt, peas and mint?
