I was just given a 1989 Nissan 300zx as a gift. I don't have the paperwork on it yet and I'd like to start pricing insurance policies. I know Nissan made the same vehicle as a "non-altered" and as a "turbo". How can I tell if the one I have is just a regular 300zx or a 300zx Turbo? It has two seats in the front, the back has just a flat storage/trunk space, and there is only one muffler.

N/A does not mean "non-altered", seeing as the factory puts the turbo on, it is not an alterration. It stands for "Naturally Aspirated"
Just check for a turbo behind the engine, that's where the turbo on my 300zx is located. It looks very much like a large snail.

If it has one or more of these under the hood. Also I think the turbos would say "turbo" somewhere on the car. Anyways have fun and remember if it is turbocharged that you should allow 5 minutes extra for start up and cool down before and after driving the car so as to let the turbines slow down etc.
