I recently got some presedential dollars from the bank and I noticed that this coin looked as if were an off-center or broadstrike mint error. Does it look like a mint error. Does it have any value? I scanned it upside down so that the error could be easily seen.

I carry a Washington dollar in my pocket as a lucky piece so to speak and noticed the reverse of it is off also. Not as much as yours, but enough to get my attention. I have not read in any of the coin magazines or papers anything about what you have. I have the feeling the collar may be some what loose so there is a little play in where the coin is, when struck. I don't think it has much value for it would need to be off more than it is. I have some old bust dollars like that and they are not worth any more or less. I will look into it further though.

I seen off-center coins and frankly, yours isn`t even close. In fact, it looks normal to me. Just my 2 cents.

It isn't enough off center for anyone I know to pay more than $1 for it.
