how do i keep the tiger barbs i just got from the heater? they keep going next to it

i agree with the 3rd guy best answer but i have to wait 4 hrs.

i only bought 3 but im getting 3 more each week.

I t depends on how many do you have. I f you have less than 5 I suggest that you get some more (if there's enough space in your tank) that way they'll school together all over the tank instead of staying at the heater.

If you have 5 or more try getting more plants (real or fake) so that they be distracted from the heater.

Buy live plants, and check your temperature, your water might be still to cold for them, that might be another reason for them to go the heater

their probably hiding or are cold. give the water time to heat up! : )))
