I live in Texas so about 75. On hot days (days it's not raining) It should be about 70. But i've been keeping it on 75 , 76 all the time. If you live in Yankee land the thermo should be 75. Which is always about the comfort zone. If it is really hot then 73.

most electric companies recommend 78-81 degrees to save energy. and keep you house cooled constantly. don't wait for it to heat up then turn on the a/c. that causes the a/c to run for prolonged periods of time, usually during peak usage hours.
