Me neither, he'll have the same problems he had in LA.

We'll he'll fit into his uniform but not in any other way. This guy is horrible and cant believe Miami signed him for 2.5 million a year. This guy was looking at playing overseas because he wasnt drawing interest from any team. He is a horrible defender as far as staying in front of his player. He has a horrible attitude; if he does not get his offensive game going early he will pout and not even try to play defense. He gives off obvious bad body language when things are going bad for him. He lost his starting job to a rookie last year during the final games of the season and playoffs. Horrible pick up for Miami and overpaid.

I personally loved Smush when he first signed with the Lakers ... I had BIG hopes for him .. but what I think happened is that he wanted to be the best player on the team and knew it was impossible because he couldn't be as good as Kobe. I don't know maybe he'll have better luck in Miami, doubt it.

Obviously the show in Miami is going to revolve around D-Wade & Shaq, so he's not going to get too much attention anyways. I mean think about it though, I'd rather have Smush over Jason Williams. He's always injured and he shoots 3's too much, and he's not really that good of an outside shooter.

He's not a good PG but he is a good SG and scorer which was his college position. I don't think Jackson utilized him correctly. If anything I think the Lakers are stupid because they keep signing point guards and no other help. The Lakers main weakness is they have one true SG/SF and that's Kobe Bryant. They should have traded Walton instead of resigning him because he and Odom are doing the same job and neither of them are scoring too much. They don't need anymore front court facilitators. What they really need is someone like McGrady to play in the Triangle with Odom, and Bryant. In that situation Bryant really becomes unstoppable because you can't overplay him.

well it worked for gary payton when he left kobe for shaq.
pat rilley knows what he is doing, smush has good size,
can defend pretty good, and with shaq in the middle
won't be shooting as much which is his weakness just like
kobe he has low shooting percentage. so that should
help the heat.
also it gives the heat some depth, and smush is in his
prime, so he will be a big help, riley knows that, fans
don't know what they are talking about.

Parker is one of four players with at least 110 steals and 110 3-point field goals in each of the past two seasons. Gilbert Arenas, Kobe Bryant and Jason Kidd are the others. To say he sucks is just plain stupid. Could it be that maybe he dosent fit well into that particular system? Im sick of people who just watch espn highlights down talk players.

Any point guard is an improvement to the heat. Gary Payton is too old and Jason Williams gets injured too much. But, I do agree that they could've looked a little harder for a good point guard.
