It is a 3.8L custom. Autozone.com doesn't list it in component locations...

Check on the bottom of the sides of the oil pan. some 3.8's have them located on one side for some reason. Bad design if you ask me. Just search all around the bottom of the oil pan, its there... I would also presume it to be a metric bolt as are most Buick drain plugs. Anywhere between 15mm-22mm.

Just jack the car up in the front and on the oil pan you will see a large nut on the back or on the side of it and thats the drain plug.

Either the bottom or on the lower side of the oil pan underneath your car.

at the lowest point of the oil pan.... or it may have rolled into the grass

uhh well you could start by looking under your car.....normally in the middle frontish, by the fuel filter.
