Well, I have known I was an air sign forever. But then I realise I am absolutely in love with flying and also love things that fly - I am a bird lover. And I love music and art - and those to me are airy things.

Air signs have to do with the mind. Ususally air signs are bright and more intellectually driven, not necessarily smarter. Fire signs are more action oriented, Earth signs are more pragmatic and Water signs are more sensitive and feeling. Beware thought, these are generalizations and the whole chart needs to be considered. For example, if you have a sun in say watery cancer and seem more pragmatic, it may be because you have a lot of other planets in earth signs or houses.

I'm an Air sign by birth, but a Water element by affinity. I've always loved the water, the autumn, sunset, etc. The whole emotional, empathetic thing has really suited me. And it used to be that I didn't "get" the Air sign part of me, until I realized that the Air side is the intellect looking to analyze, while the Water side uses that analysis to help.
So I figure that Aquarius, the Water Bearer, is the perfect sign for me and is a good summary of my personality.

I'm assuming you mean with the Zodiac. Each element is meant to describe what kind of personality a person has.
Ironically I am an Earth sign, but Air is my favorite element.

Being saggitarus I guess I would be fire. It does make sense though since I have a hot temper. Fire though is not necessarily evil. It is simply a force of renewal. Fire will rage through a forest and the ash it leaves behind serves as fertilizer for new plants.

Fire because i like watching it (i don't play with it and i'm pretty sure i'm not a pyro) And unfortunately my temper sometimes flares up. Earth as well because i love out open country and hate the city.

Fire. I'm a leo. Also I have bad experiences with the others. I can't swim. I always bang my knee on the solid rock ground. My kites always flopped about. But I've only ever burnt myself once.

im a Aries thats fire so i guess that explains why i like fire and other things associated with fire yay fire is cool! i also get mad pretty easily too and i stay mad for quite a while as well
