Limburger cheese is horrible smelling especially if left out in the sun , someone smeared some on the air intake of a friends car once and it was sickening .
The bacteria used to ferment Limburger cheese is Brevibacterium linens which is the same bacteria which is found on human skin and is partially responsible for human body odor .

We discovered a packet of felix cat food that must have had a tiny hole in it. It took hours to find it, but when we did the sachet had expanded and the smell was indescribable and actually made me urge in the kitchen sink. Took hours for the smell to disappear from the house as well. UUUURRRGGGGHHHH makes me shiver just remembering it!

Accidentally roasting live maggots. You'll never forget that smell. Or the barfing. There's not enough Febreze in this world to cure it.
