I know of this beauty salon in my city is serving free beer to their client. Is that legal? Dont they need a license to serve beer, even if it's free. But this is a beauty salon not a restuarant or bar. I think this is Illegal. Wat you think?

I have heard of some salons that serve Champagne with their pedicures and manicures, totally legal. It would be just like serving drinks at your home. Only if you are selling booze for profit or as a biz, would you need a licence.

It isn't legal in every state. In some states, the laws are specific to the city and county.

It is legal..however very weird because most women at a salon would not want to slam down a cold one while getting their hair done.
