there's a town called celebration. It's on 1 92 near old town. they have nice restaurants, shopping, a movie theatre and a beautiful lit up lake. my favorite restaurant there is called columbia. It's spanish foods. pretty upscale but not ridiculously priced. there's also d'antonios which has good food too.

there's premium outlets near downtown disney. it's not like other outlet places. it's very nice. they have a lacoste, dior, calvin klein... all sorts of stores.

If you're near altamonte springs which is right outside of orlando, there's a 5 star restaurant called Ginas on the Lakeside right behind the altamonte mall which faces cranes roost lake. after dinner, you can walk around the lake. I used to live right across the street from it. It's gorgeous. It's got nice board walk style walk ways, it's lit up, there's a fountain and there's also the mall and movie theatre right there. it's all right there so you don't have to drive.

I'd steer clear of old town. alot of people mention it, but it's dirty. I swear I'm not lying. It's where all the scummy people go. It used to be a tourist trap but it's gone down hill. There's downtown disney but I think that's overrated. I'm trying to give you ideas you'd both like.

Well, in addition to all of the obvious things to do in Orlando (many theme parks and other attractions, water parks, malls and outlets, Church Street Station, movies, Cirque du Soleil), you could also do nice day trips outside of Orlando. The beach is about an hour/hour and half away (you can drive either east or west), Kennedy Space center is also a nice day trip, and Bok Tower gardens is about an hour or so south. There are also some flight related activities in the area, and I think an activity where you become weightless. Finally, Orlando has some really wonderful restaurants you might want to check out.
