No, sorry. The only Mannix I have ever heard of is Joe Mannix a private detective played by Mike Connors in the 1970's, and the best detective series to grace our screens, ever!

I've never heard it before, but here are its origins:

MANNIX
Gender: Masculine
Usage: Irish
Anglicized form of MAINCHÍN

MAINCHÍN
Gender: Masculine
Usage: Irish
Means "little monk", derived from Irish manach "monk" combined with a diminutive suffix.
