I am looking for a stockbroker but I can't find any online.

Well, most of the banks in my town can buy stocks for you. But the matter of not finding a broker online is crazy.

Most brokers in a bank are there just to sell mutual funds and annuities. The larger banks do provide real stockbrokers, but they may have a minimum account size -- below that you're back to mutual funds.

Try Vanguard.com -- they have a brokerage operation as well as sell low-cost mutual funds.

Most banks have a separate operation that deals with stock trading, among other services. For example, Citibank - Smith Barney. And Wells Fargo Bank shows a brokerage operation on their website.

try an online brokerage firm: lynch, schwab, etc.
