my two young blood parrots and 3 young albino corydoras are getting along fine at the moment, but i was wondering......will they get along for the rest of their lives since they are growing up together? and what are some bottom feeders that will get along with the parrots if this situation wont work out forever?

please dont reccomend pictus cats(my petstore did)....as they will get big for my tank(even though i think they are neat!)

thanks to all who answer!

With cichlids, it is always a gamble. Plecos are probably your best bet. There are certain kinds of plecos that stay 5-6" and will be very entertaining to watch.

The fact that they grow up together in the same tank will not make a difference. The blood [parrots may or may not fight, that will remain to be seen. The corys spines will probably protect them from being eaten, but they will be harasses by the blood parrots as they age.

what is ur tanksize? if you cant fit a pitcus you really cant really fit a parrot fish, over 16-23 inches long ea.

But, they will be fine with cories, also you wont need another bottom fish as you have cories... your bottom is covered with the cories.
