yes and no. As long as your not throwing it at a brick wall as hard as you can they actual hold up very well. I have a regular V3 that i droped 15 feet off a balcony twice onto pavement and it worked fine. BTW I am by no means suggesting that. I no use a V3T, because it was my upgrade with T mobile. I have dropped this one several times as well and it keeps on working like nothing happened. Now some people i know have really abused them and they work wonderfully, other people have dropped it off of a desk and it broke. Everyone will have a different story. but think about this, if they were horrible phones that broke easy, then why does it seem like everyone has one? so if they were just fance junk "everyone" would not still have one. I actually know a website where you can get the V3s from several carriers for either free or get mail in rebates and free blooths with them. the website is

They are like any other phone it depends on how you take care of it. I had dropped mine on concrete and it didn't break. The problem I ran into with mine was the battery life was not very long. I charged it as they say to do and I still had to go get replacement batteries ever so often. I got rid of my razor.

I had a motorola razr for 2 years prior to getting a Sync. I never had any problems with it being delicate. It always felt sturdy in my hands.

I have one and it seems pretty well made to me, feels nice and solid in the hand.

It's a secondary phone though, I use a Nokia one all the time and like it much better. Now they do seem robust! Easier for texting too, much easier.

yes. i heard that they are. one of my friends said someone they knew had like 3 because they kept breaking. i think people are just to rough on their phones though. they're cool phones and as long as you are careful with it everything should be fine.
