My husband and I are at odds over a boy's name. He likes Brock LaRue, but I hate it. I want something extra unique, because my daughter has a very unique name.. My daughter was named after her great grandfather: Cyrus. Something unique, not like Caiden, or Kyler. I am talking "out there", never heard of kind of name.

I really dont like anything that sounds ethnic specific. If anything maybe something celtic, irish, or scottish because that is our family origin.

Brock LaRue sounds like a male stripper -- sorry.

Since you named your daughter after a family member, why don't you try to do the same for your son?
