I have to agree with some of the other people that answered. It all depends on the person. If a gun is used to break the law we don't blame the gun we blame the person. If there were no guns nut cases would find something else to use to accomplish what they want.

People aren't surprised that I own guns. They don't expect it, I guess. But they really are surprsied when they learn I'm a good shot. People should not have a gun unless they know how to handle it ... and that includes shoorting accurately. So, I guess some people think differently.... but I'm not trigger happy.

the only difference between gun owners and non gun owners is: People with guns don't care if you have one or not.

yeah.. and I'd venture to say that the crook who tries to rob them thinks differently of them too when he sees the gun come out
