The trailer shows some gameplay along with some new enemies which look like zombies that are able to infect you, able to run, able to attack you with weapons, able to communicate, and of course, able to creep you out.
Some might ask, is that it? some town in the desert full with infected dark colored folks? Let me tell you that when RE4 came out, the trailers or TV ads only showed the villagers as the enemies. Nobody thought it would have a lot of different enemies and bosses. So, Capcom surprised us by only showing us the enemies from the beginning of the game.
I don't know about you but I think this will be as much fun as RE4. The creators have said that they will bring back the scares in style of the 1st RE game.

I think its great that they're going back to basics, especially with Chris. I'm also hoping that when they bring back Chris they will also bring back Wesker into the main storyline. I miss the days when Wesker was a main Character......in RE1, RE0, RECVX, according to imdb.com he will be back, but with a new voice actor (not sure why they would switch now... I was just getting used to the inexplicable british accent...) So anyway the game looks incredible as far as graphics go. I just wish we could go back to a more metropolitan area... I'm sick of fighting villagers.... can't they un-blow-up Racoon City or something? My only wishes for this game are: More Wesker, and a storyline that ties in with the rest of the series (no more of this "I'm going to save the president's daughter" crap...)

Resident Evil is my second favorite video game series next to Halo. Although, I wish Leon were in Resident Evil 5, because he is cool in Resident Evil 2 and 4. Also, I wish that RE5 continued the story of the Las Plagas. Capcom said they were not zombies nor ganado. Also, I love the graphics, and how u have to use the enviroment to survive. But, I think Resident Evil 4 will still be better. Long live RE4!!

I love the game! I'm a little disappointed that they won't make RE5 for the wii since I don't have PS3 or the xbox 360. :(
