Yes, I used to but I now take too many medicines to be considered. Also I can no longer make enough blood for myself so that rules me out. As a recipient of many transfusions I'm all for it.

No But I would if I could
But new laws in the UK means that you can't if you've received a transfusion within the last 20 years
If it wasn't for the people who donated, then I wouldn't be here
I'll always be grateful

Yes , about 100 times , first for money and then for the Red Cross for free (They paid you back in the 60s in Germany).
Had to stop because of heavy medication and a heart condition but I would recommend it for everybody - there are not enough donors about .

No because I am under age, I'll have to wait about 3 to 4 years until I am the right age and intend to give blood.

Jeepers, you have 34 answers already, I hope you're not too tired to read mine.
Yes I have donated blood.
(And proud of it).
It seems like a small effort to do so as you never know when or if you'll need a blood transfusion yourself someday.
Here's one of the golden rules:
If you want the world to be a better place, start with yourself.

I did once and the needle was as big as a knitting needle, I was that scared I had to have a local anaesthetic in my arm before I let them do it, I never went back again. I did enjoy the cup of tea and buiscit at the end.
