Washing up liquid in hotwater is more than adequate for lightweight wallpapers. Sponge it on liberally and let it soak a while before scraping off. You'll soon work out how long you need to wait.

Don't waste your time with homemade. You'll only end up having a mess. Do it right the first time.
Go to Lowe's and buy this stuff called "Dif Gel".
You just spray it on, wait 15 minutes, and it easily comes right off. Trust me, it works great!

Hot vinegar and water; half and half; Put in spray bottle let sit l/2 hours and peel off paper;
Make a few cuts in the paper to be sure the remover gets behind the paper.

Vinegar and hot water.. 50/50 spray and let it sit on the paper for about 10-15 min.. .It helps to score the paper with a "paper tiger" product... Good luck....

Fabric softener and warm water. Downy seems to be mentioned the most. I think the recipe is one part softener to four parts warm water. The water being warm is key - helps to loosen the glue. Good luck!
