HI there,
I wish I could deliver you a positive answer, but I am sorry, there is no way to stop your period this late in the game. If you would have known in advance, possibly 3-4 days in advance, you may have been able to decrease and cease your flow using a contraceptive pill (if you are on them).
If you take the pill, skip your placebo pills and obtain a new pack. Start taking the first pill of the new pack. This will not allow your body to have it's menstrual cycle on the normal time. Many women who have their wedding dates fall on their normal period time will do this.
Sorry! Hope you have a fun time,
Kelly McBride, RDMS

taking 800 mg of ibuprofen with food might help a little. good luck and have fun!!!!
Just for the ignorants out there giving thumbs down. there was a study that showed that taking high doses of ibuprofen showed to decrease menstrual bleeding. Not only will it help with bloating and/or pain. so it would not hurt to give it a try. That is why I mentioned it.

I heard that sitting in a tub of ice water can put a damper on your period. I don't know how long you're supposed to sit in it, tho. I can't imagine doing this, but I heard of it.

You can wear a tampon w/ a thick pad. The only way to stop it is a shot from a doctor. Check w/ your doctor.
