I've always like the name Alexis and use Lexi for a nickname! That is actually a character in the novel I'm working on and I use Lexi as her nickname!

To be honest i'm not a fan of either of them but would pick Alexi over Lexi. Lexi is becoming very popular.

Alexa. Alexi sounds like a cartoon and Lexi sounds like a nickname, not a full name.

really like the name lexi but dont like the name alexi - i think lexi is quite unusual and much easier to say than alexi - everyone would only shorten the name to lexi if her name was alexi!

Alexi is better as a given name, Lexi is a short form - a bit like William/Bill. Its better to give the full version of the name and just shorten it like a nickname.
