Nope. I stayed away from HP sites for two weeks before, i got my book via Amazon.com so i didn't have to worry about someone ruining it while heading to the bookshop, I didn't turn my computer on until after i finished the book, refused to watch tv, and turned off my phone. Thankfully it only took a day to read.

Ever since the popularity of the internet soared to a roaring peak, there have been many attempts to alert the public on the ending of many things...especially the final Harry Potter book. I look upon it this way: People can blab all they want about how the book may or may not end, but that does not replace the thrill and adventure you have simply by reading how that ending came to be. And as anyone who read the book can tell you....what a ride it was!

Well, I accidently read that Bellatrix kills Ron and while I didn't believe it, I knew that spoilers leaked and therefore had some doubts about it. And, some idiot kid told me at the Midnight Release Party that Voldemort kills Snape. He didn't mean to but I was still a bit upset. At least it was something that I could have easily guessed would happen. Now, if he told me that Fred got killed, I probably would have burst out in tears!

YES! An employee at my local Barns and Nobel was telling some one the ending to the book so loud you could hear him on the other side of the store

Oh yes. I have, I learned of Tonks (my fav character) died and so did Lupin and Fred and Hedwig much too early. It was just 4 hours before I got my book on the Saturday, the week it came out. It was sad. But anyway it happened so oh well. One guy even listed out who died on which page too. That was upsetting.

No. I stayed away from sites like this one and plugged my ears anytime I heard the word "Harry" uttered anywhere near me - until I finished the book.
