Toss up between the US and Mexico most people would say, but other teams had both these heavy favorites on the ropes at times.

Both Mexico and USA have excellent youth systems and great players in development. Mexico will probably continue to have better technical players but I think the US is closing the gap - especially after watching the u-20 WC.
So I'm going to go with Belize. They're taking it all...

As long as the Gold Cup is held in the United States, the U.S. starts as the slight favorite to win the Gold Cup with Mexico being second favorite. While there are other teams capable of pulling off an upset (Costa Rica being at the top of the list), the safest way to pick a winner is to toss a coin between the U.S. and Mexico.

No question is going to be USA. I don't know what the set up is going to be for the next Gold Cup. But it's a good bet it will be the USA.

Mexico. Mexico will eventually be ready for the counterstrike USA always has. Once this happens i don't see USA getting around pass the mexican midfield (coach bradley even knows that) but its likely USA will drop their team to defend and counter.. .as always.

USA is gonna win again next year just like they have the past 2 years...US soccer is dramatically improving and i dont think that mexico is ready for them..they are too good for mexico and i think they are a better all around team then them
