FIrst they see the fun of it: being paid to wear cool clothes, getting your hair and makeup done for you, and getting your picture taken all the time.
Then they see the ego-boosting aspects of it: more photo shoots means you're more beautiful. Models are idolized and set the standard for beauty.
What models don't realize until its too late is what models are really viewed as: Half-starved, brainless, moving mannequins. They eat diet food they don't like, wear clothes they didn't pick out, aren't allowed to smile, and become anonymous.
Nobody really views models as people. They are simply tools that fashion companies use to sell their clothes. Models aren't expected to have a personality or to think of anything besides hair and makeup.
The problem is that most people are drawn into modeling for the appealing aspects that I mentioned ealier, and the gradual descent into nothingness is hardly noticable over the glitz and glam. By the time they've realized what they've become, they don't know how to change back.

They would only want to be a model if their personality was so vain and desperate and spelling so poor that they were wasting energy on something as lame as yahoo answers. "any won" ?!?!?!?!? You are either drunk, stupid or suffering the ill effects of a head injury. Ask yourself if your question has any bearing at all on anything of substance.

Personally, I want to be a doctor... But I can understand the desire to be a model.

I wonder the same exact thing! I wouldn't want to aspire to be a model. I would want to aspire to be something admirable like a doctor. =)

there is nothing wrong with modeling, I just hate how girls get so skinny and dont eat.
