how severe is lichen sclerosis and does it lead to cancer?

I have some friends that have lichen sclerosis and they say that it can be uncomfortable. One of them is using a steroid to help treat it. As for it becoming cancer, it's possible. One of my friends started a group in relation to the subject. Email or IM me off site if you would like more info about that group and I'll pass it on.
