The bubbles mean the water is boiling. If y ou turn the heat all the way up you mightget more of a boil, but the bubbles still mean the water is boiling.

If this stumps you, add salt to the water and cover the pot

Add some salt to it. Depending on your alt or whatever, add some salt.

It not only makes it boil quicker, but hotter so you don't need to cook your food as long. Its a scientific principle with chemisty, the more ions in the water, or the lower the altitude, the faster it boils....

If the bubbles are big that means it's boiled, if they are small bubbles that means it's trying to boil.

Salt will help make it boil and make sure the stove is on high. If that doesn't work put water in the microwave it works faster but you lose alot.

When the water gets bubbly it is boiling. And if you are not satisfied with it then let it stand over heat longer.

Try turning the heat down a little. If it gets all bubly that means you have cooked it too fast. Let it simmer for about 20 minutes until it turns a nice golden brown. Hope that helps!

Don't quit your day job, and don't attempt to cook anything that requires boiling water.
