First off, do not take tylenol because it contains acetaminophen, which I am going to assume is the thing you're allergic to in Midol. (Midol is just tylenol with caffeine and a uretic.)
Stretching and warm baths can help.
If this is a constant problem, I would consult your doctor. He or she could put you on birth control.
I used to have horrible cramps, too, and being on birth control has greatly reduced my discomfort (after all, you're really not having a period when you're on BC!).
Hope you feel better soon!

My best friend in Jr high used to have cramp so bad that all she could do was rock around and cry. :( Her mom used to tell her to take hot baths and to sit still and relax with a heating pad on her belly. Sorry you are feeling so horrible. There are several brands of birth control pills (Allese, lutera- I don't know if that is the correct spelling for allese) that allow you to not have a period. You should ask your doctor.

Ibuprofen or acetaminophen, any generic pain-reliever works!
Birth control pills stop cramps in their tracks, especially if the cramps are really serious.
Regular exercise makes cramps less severe.
I also read on a tampon packet that drinking a good amount of water may help with cramping.

Talk to a gynocologist. They may suggest birth control as a way to ease your cramps and pains. If nothing else, birth control can be used such that you only have 4 periods a year.
Goodluck

From a naturopathic point of view, there are certain minerals you can take to help. Magnesium and potassium are two that will help regulate cramping. You can take them in pill form or get potassium rich foods like bananas. Good luck!
