Im a red sox fan.... I think it's so cool that all these boston fans are on here.... Im from Springfield Mass so i've been a redsox fan all my life.

I would like the Red Sox since I was born and grew up in Boston. But seriously the Yankees' pitching staff has went down the drain. For the past couple of years the Yankees were in unstable conditions and require a huge-huge second half to get back in the playoff contention. This will not work while entering the playoffs or going off against a great team like the Red Sox. No one will depend on the 2004 ALCS like the Red Sox coming from behind of 4 games to win it.
But anyways my favorite players for the BoSox are Josh Beckett, Manny, Youk, and Okajima. Those are the one that will help us win the World Series. Papi has faded out a little and is bothered with injuries so he isn't having a good lead anywhere.

Well to start off, I'm changing your question a little bit. In 2007 the Red Sox are better. Historically the Yankees are better considering their 26 Championships. I personally like the Red Sox better because half of my family is from Boston. And all the Yankees do is buy all the good players because they aren't fair and they are located in one of the richest cities in the world giving them the most money. The Yankees are cheaters. My favorite player from the Yankees is nobody. My favorite player from the Sox is Jason Varitek. My favorite player over all is Aaron Rowand of the Philadelphia Phillies.

Red Sox. I hate the Yankees. I think unless you live in NYC almost everyone hates the Yankees. I am from Pittsburgh, and yes unfortunatly I am a Pirates fan, but I would say the Red Sox are my favorite A.L. team. I would have to say that either Manny or Big Papi are my favorites on the Red Sox. When you think of the Red Sox you think of either Manny or Papi.

Well, first baseball game I saw was sox and yanks at yankee stadium before the sox won the world series. The yankee fans were so full of themselves carrying those 1918 signs. So I've hated the yankees ever since and I've been a red sox fan. favourite player, gotta be big papi.

That's choosing between the lesser of two evils. In that case, I would have to pick the Red Sox. The only player I like from the Sox would be Coco Crisp.

I'm a lifelong Sawx fan...in fact my grandmother was Carlton Fisk's babysitter when he was growing up in Charlestown NH. I'd have to say my favorite player is Papelbon and Ortiz as a hitter. I got to tell you also I'll admit 8 games isn't a lot but I'm still hopeful of a pennant. Go SAWX

By default the RED SOX. I am so sick of NEW YORK and everything about them. Favorite player would be anyone in any uniform that doesn't have pinstripes and an NY on it. That's how tired of the YANKS I am....
