Whatever you do in life, you ALWAYS depend on other people! Think about it. You depend on the Mailman to bring your Mail, the Auto Repair guy to fix your car. The bank teller to put your deposit in right, the people at the Drive-Thru to not rip you off. There are a dozens more, but you`ll figure it out.
Without us working together, there is no Independence

i'm a very independent person and i find it difficult to trust other people. however i do have a history of latching onto someone who will care about me.
now however, i'm married and he and i are COdependent, meaning we can be independent but at the same time we share a dependency with eachother. but neither of us are entirely dependent on the other.
codependency is part of being in a relationship, like communication. it makes the relationship work, last, and great.

I really like being mostly independent and self-sufficient. But their are times I need to dependent on others for help.

Only to the extent that is healthy and sane. I don't depend on him for my happiness or self worth, but I do depend on him to be there for me when I need him. I hope he depends on me for the same.

Yes, I do allow my self to depend on another....my big brother. When my boyfriend loves me unconditionally like my brother does I will accept his proposal...not until.

i think we depend on people one way or another....besides some things in life just can't be faced alone....as a society we all need people in our lives..
& if I am 21 now & still want to depend on my mommy..well then so be it !

Hell no! I can take care of myself, but I do like that my husband pays ALL the bills! But I could take care of myself if I wanted to.

i cant depend on another. no other will even get close to me. i cant depend on myself, so i am basically f***ed. just patiently awaiting death now...
