Careful! Your ignorance is showing. Nothing illegal about the war in Iraq, the UN approved it, numerous countries were allied with us at the start and sent their own troops, the U.S. Congress approved it as well.
Try reading the Geneva Convention before ranting. But in a way you are partly correct about the Geneva Convention. If we followed it to the letter, there would be no prisoners at Gitmo. Under the rules of armed conflict, we have the legal right to execute the terrorists after capture right on the battlefield. Since the terrorists are not uniformed combatants, do not represent any govt, they are considered "guerrillas" by the Geneva Convention and that gives U.S. troops the legal right to shoot them after they surrender or are captured.
Try again liberal bed-wetter!

yes, it was an illegal invasion & occupation.
but you need to understand that the US unsigned various international treaties, prior to the start of the war.
good news for the US but bad news for Mr B'liar.
he didn't do the same, for him the war is still illegal & he could at a later date, stand trial for war crimes.
full list of Bushs unsigned treaties below
& a link to prove B'liar by following the US MUST one day face the international court.

I have to agree with you Bub, we're not the police force of the world either so, maybe you could do something to get your country, where ever that is, off their a-------and go over there and help them poor women and children, maybe my grandson could come home after three years. Or are you and your countrymen just living off our good faith like you always do, no one ever turns our aid down.

Should we have left saddam where he was then, murdering his own people by the thousands, trying his best to obtain nuclear weapons and technology?

If your answer to this is no, then how could we have gone in to remove saddam and then left, sure in the knowledge that we would not have to go back again for the next tyrant who took over.?

Ok, so if we had to go in to remove saddam, and if we couldn't leave untill a stable and democratic iraqi government and army were trained and took over, then how can this be an illegal occupation.

So illegal operation is your bumper sticker? It's a completely legal invasion, not occupation. It's amazing how you twist words to attack your own country. That's called treason buddy.

Hey, thats the US of A your talking about bud...
k......I don't condone the war, since there will be no end, but my point here is, The US wasn't ever apart of the Geniva convention, we recognize it, but thats it. As far as to say illegal?? No, we had every right to go over there, people were suffering under the reign of Saddam. No other country had the balls to go over there and stop it. Sure, we may have gone over to find weapons and we did, they were buried and dismantled. but still, Saddam needed to be taken out of office. Now our mission is to restore peace to Iraq. It won't happen i believe, since people still have their extremist ideas about the Jihads and all that stuff. Whatever country your from....YOUR head is too big. Report abuse or whatever..i don't care, when someone insults a nation without knowing thier facts, thats just wrong...do you even have the freedom to speak???
Besides that...The US might as well be the world, atleast then we could have freedom and peace.
