Do you think the Backstreet Boys are very talented?? I think they are one of the best bands ever. I know a lot of people think they are stupid. I think they all were very talented, they made pretty music together. Do you agree??

I have to admit that when they were big stars, I was a fan. But that was just when I went through my pop/boy band phase. I have gone through many music preferences in the last 10 years. I have since moved on to my punk/emo/metal rock phase, so admitting I once was a fan is sort of a punkout, but I'm being honest.
Seeing all the bands that I'm a fan of now, I look back and cannot believe I was a fan. I mean, they don't even play instruments or write any of their own songs. You have to have respect for those whose heart and soul shows through to the music, and looking back at the backstreet boys, all I see is five guys dancing around in sync with eachother and lip syncing to millions of pre-teen girls.

Seeing how the Backstreet Boys are all in their 30's now, they don't play instruments, and they don't write a majority of their own songs...
I can't call that talent. They've got something, or they wouldn't be where they are.

I don't think the Backstreet Boys are extremely talented,I think they were marketed very well.Ex manager Ron Pearlman is a marketing genius.

I honestly LOVE *Nsync. And if you don't think *Nsync is better than the Backstreet Boys -then why did *Nsync sell 2.5 MILLION cds there first week?! -No one else has EVER beat that!

im not a backstreet boy listener but when i was younger [[lol]] i listened to them, and they were really good. they do have a lot of talent

By virtue of them being one of the myriads of boy bands, this alone precludes them from having any real talent. They were a manufactured creation.

they were good in there time and at that time they were the best band but like every other band, they slowly went down hill, but i think they are good. they didnt go down because they were bad, they went down because the times.
