I have a Dell E1405 with Windows Media Center and I was wondering if it was possible to receive TV channels through my laptop?

If so, what exactly would I need to make this work?

I have a S-Video slot on my laptop, but I do not have one on my TV

There are two ways to do this; one is to get a dv-b tv USB dongle that plugs into a USB port. This has a Freeview digital tuner built in. The other way is to get a PCMCIA tv tuner card. Either way you will need a good outside aerial to plug into the dongle or card. Remember digital TV generally needs a better aerial than analogue TV.

You will still need an input to your laptop via a tv tuner. The s video is output only.
