The worst also happen to be the most ridiculous and didn't really hurt as much as they were I'm sure intended to, being as they were just so absurd as to be bordering on surreal. For example a woman at work used to whisper "This isn't the mens room" if we were in the ladies bathroom together. She'd do it everytime. Stuff like "Aren't you in the wrong bathroom?" or "Don't forget to tuck." She was completely off her rocker.
Then lately these what seem to be local crack hos, I don't live in the greatest neighborhood, have taken to yelling "$LUT" at me for some reason. Its not hurtful as it makes absolutely no sense.
Really the most hurtful thing would have to be a woman that was my best friend, best ever really, for over half a decade. She fell on hard times and I let her move in with me and my husband rent free. I bought all the food, etc. And I was thrilled with that arrangement at first, but she became a nuisance. For some reason she thought it was perfectly acceptable to call her boyfriend at 1AM and LOUDLY laugh and LOUDLY talk for an hour or two. I basically told her to be quiet after 11 PM. Days later she sits down next to me and goes "We need to talk, I'm starting to think of you as a *****, and I never thought I'd feel this way about you." I just wanted to slap her.

Many years ago an extremely intelligent friend in college told me my problem was that I think everybody is intelligent, that I overvalue others' thoughts and fail to discern fools. What he said wasn't so bad, but has remained an enigma that I reflect on 30 years later. Perhaps he wasn't intelligent after all.....
The worst thing anyone has said about me has never been worse than the truth about me. People are generally kind, and bullies I don't listen to.

OK... real life trauma... My mom said to me: "You disappoint me".
I was trying as hard as I could to learn how to walk... how could I disappoint her? What did she expect at 9 months!!! It wasn't that time... but she did say that and never got over it.
What is flighty... like trippy?

In Junior High, there was a rumor going around that I was a lesbian...despite the fact that I was hopelessly obsessed with Reid (a guy)...
None of the girls would talk to me and the boys all snickered behind my back. That was awful...

I've been called so many things, let's see...my mother once called my pariah when she was really mad, she used to call us all names whenever we quarrelled. my sisters and I practically killed each other when we were younger and my mother would loose it so easily and called us pigs, crows and some other names.
