It was very sad but good. Many of the best stories in literature have sad endings for a more dramatic emotion.

I hated the way that the Skeleton Key movie ended. I was hoping that there would be a sequel where Caroline, (Kate Hudson) and the young man that's trapped in the old man's body would regain their rightful bodies again. Maybe they could show the nurse, who was Caroline's friend finding out the truth and then figuring out a way to get things straightened out. I wish that somebody would hurry up and make a sequel.

I thought the movie was pretty good overall, one of the better horrors but the ending could have been better. They might have bee trying to leave room for a sequel or just be unexpected. Idk though I haven't watched it awhile

what was worse than the ending is when you realize that the black people that they hung and burned were actually their own children trapped in the black peoples' bodies. that's screwed up.
