Because they swing beautiful women above their heads! It's funny some of the comments above referring to the men as being a tad 'camp'. My Thai boxing instructor goes to ballet lessons twice a week to help his movement and balance and he's a European Thai boxing champion. He says male ballet dancers are the strongest and fittest athletes going and would be able to beat most of us to a pulp!

well..after seeing Swan Lake recently at the Albert Hall..i think their egos are justified just because they are so totally skillful...fabulous dancers..a life time of work has gone into being an adult male ballet dancer...so maybe thats why.

It's probably because they work so damn hard to keep fit enough to be able to dance properly. I think that they could put any normal guys who slag them off, to shame!!!
