No. A laptop's internet has to come from somewhere. You use your own Internet for your laptop, so it's obvious that you have to pay for it. Even a wireless network card is not free.

No. The wireless laptop has to have an internet connection. There are wifi hotspots that have free internet when you are there. Some restaurants have this as well as some highway reststops. Many colleges and universities and even some schools have wireless internet, but someone along the way pays fpr the service. Sprint, Verizon and At&T all have wirless internet service at a monthly price and they all use a different wireless card that you actaully plug into your laptop.

There is no such thing as laptops coming with 'free internet'.

You could, however, be referring to the laptop's capability to be able to connect to the various wireless networks in range. Nowadays, you will rarely find a laptop that doesn't come with a wireless card installed (which will give you the above mentioned capablility).

A laptop could cost you around $500-$1000 dollars at the cheapest. This is a reasonable range and will get you somewhere around the 512 MB RAM, 80 GB Hard drive playing field.

If you want at home, you could get Comcast's for roughly around $33 dollars ,depending on which plan you subscribe to.

No, you gotta get an internet service provider like any other computer. But, a lot of people have wireless internet around and its easy to pick up signals with some laptops for internet. so you'll be "stealing" other peoples internet. in that case, it would be free, but off course, it depends on your area. and also, some of the peoples wireless, or their called wi-fi i think, have passwords in them, so other people cant use their internet. but its better to get your own internet in the end because it'll make it faster than when using other peoples and more convenient.

when you do get it, it should cost around the same prize as any internet out there. it just depends on the company, like time warner, or sprint, or w/e. just call the internet service providers and they should give you info. on it. all of them have different services so i cant really say how much, but they can give you everything you need. just call an internet provider.

No they don't. Free internet is Wi-Fi which is available freely at certain places called hot spots. If you laptop is Wi-Fi enabled then you can connect to internet at these hot spots freely.
Well you are a bit confused.
Well you need not spend a lot if you dont get the free internet. You can buy a internet connection which connects through a Ethernet port. It will cost about $35 per month.

No, although if your laptop has a wifi card or one built in you CAN access the internet from a "hotspot" or an area that has a wireless network..

not all hot spots are free,
but some places like holiday inns do provide un-weped free access networks within close proximity to there hotels .

and a few cities are now placing municipal wireless. the city of Savannah, GA is working on it and the city of Grand haven ,MI is wireless..

you can also get free wireless by "wardriving " and "leeching" off of unprotected home networks but keep in mind this practice is gernally frowned upon and is illegal in some states and seen as "theft" of bandwidth."

No, you might get a month's free service but you will still have to pay for Internet. If you take your laptop to a coffee shop they might offer free Internet while your visiting their business.

Yes! Haven't you heard? All the ISP providers are banding together and giving everyone free internet.

And Dell is handing out free laptops and government cheese.

And marijuana is being legalized. AND FREE!

Nothing is for free. Usually the software for MSN or AOL is pre-installed for free, but you will still have to subscribe to use it.
