because they are losers and do not have lives. They should worship good people who do good things like doctors and police.

hi, i will tell you why they worship them, they worship them because they think that celebrities just because they are rich and have nice stuff and clothes, and the people that worship them want to be just like them. By the way i totally agree with you when you say what is the big deal about celebrities, because obviously you don't care about them and either do i.

Because some people believe celebrities are a social icon and feel that style and status is the key to popularity. Just look at the jewelry, hair, make-up, and the clothes that they wear. Some people like materialistic things. That and lots of money.

I don't know if you'd call it "worship". It's just like music and a hot band..........its typically a phase.
Just like a long long time ago when Madonna first came out with that look that became some what fashionable. Young girls wanted to dress just like her.
Could be too they don't have anything better or interesting to do with there own lives. Sort of like being on a site like this hmmmm........nothin better to do with your time than this?

Because they lack self-esteem and have not achieved anything great themselves. They desire the fame, glory and money but rarely want to work for it.
