i am a specel needs persons and if i want to be good in college what would i have to do

Colleges and universities have tutors available, usually for free to students attending that college. Call some community colleges to see what you need to do to enroll (a guidance or career couselor should be a big help).
I commend you for wanting to go to college. It is hard work, but very worth it! Good luck.

It really depends on your "special needs." If its an LD get tutored immediately (Most schools provide that service), if its a physical disability you want to 1st make sure the campus is accessible & that classes that aren't can be moved. Talk to the disability resource person at your college about your concerns. The biggest things you have to do are advocate for your needs & study!

Go to your guidance counselor and ask for accommodations to be made for you in your classes. Colleges want you to be successful. Most college campuses have a specific office that handles requests for individuals who might need extra special services, such as use of a scribe in your classes, or whatever your particular need is. If you do not advocate for yourself and let them know what you need, they will not suddenly realize you need help. ASK

If you are still in HS see your guidence couscilor. You should contact the college and ask to speak to student services. Explain the situation and they should help you. Also, there are advocacy groups who specialize in helping special needs people with lots of different areas. You can recieve many services at no cost. BUt your best bet is to start at the collages.
