Having lived in and outside the United States, I found that it is best to make the most of life where you live. Quality of life is really, in many cases, the quality of family life. People are the same throughout the world. Artificial lines called borders create countries. Make the best out of life wherever you live hopefully with the goal of improving life. As many have pointed out, there are good points to both the United States and the United Kingdom. One previous comment stated wisely "the grass looks greener on the other side". Hopefully, next weekend, I will be visiting a different country than either the United States or the United Kingdom and still enjoying life. Afterall, we are all citizens of the world and of Planet Earth. Life, regardless of country, is only as good as our attitudes make it.

I wanna leave uk and live in Sarasota or on little hickory Island inthe Florida Keys. I have been on vacation to the states 14 times now and every time I step off the plane at Sanford Airport Florida I take a huge deep breath thru my nose and let it out with a biiiig sigh and say " ahhh its nice to be home" if I was straight I'd try and marry an american girl to get my green card ! but alas thats not an option for me, lol!
but like the song goes ...(with a few changed words) I'd be Proud to be an American.......

Both for me!
I have lived in both places. I'm comfy in both places. To me, one is not better than the other. Simply different.
We have more room and personal space here in the US. But it also makes us "keep to ourselves" a bit too much.
In the UK, I was forced to interact more with people. I also believe that because there is less personal space, (it IS way more crowded in the UK) people are more polite to each other, and generally nicer. On the otherhand. We have a more convienient lifestyle here in the US. Stuff is easier to get, and at far lower prices.

United Kingdom. I was born here, and l love my country deeply. We have some of the most stunningly beautiful scenery in the world which wouldn't exist if it wasn't for out inclement weather. On a whole our crime rate is so much lower than the U.S., and we don't have as many gun related crimes.
We also have Bakewell Pudding, Yorkshire puddings, Cumberland Sausages, Double Gloucester Cheese, Jersey Royal spuds, ......... umm, still thinking.........

I am from the UK but love the US, despite their President. I have visited San Francisco twice (amazing) and Portland, Oregan and Sacramento. I also like Canada and have been to Calgery and Vancouver, Oh, makes me wistful, just thinking about those wonderful places.

I don`t understand the question,
I have never been to the UK (always wanted to),
I live in the US, but am originally from Germany so if you`re asking which is better, I don`t know. I`m sure they all have their pros and cons.
