Hillary seems like the kind of person who spends a lot of time studying the polls and then adjusts herself to what she thinks everyone wants to hear. Now that she knows that religious people carry enough election weight to get a person elected she's now going around talking about God all the time. She looks, acts, thinks just like all the other Republicans. She's abandoned all the people who got her where she is, and she hasn't spoken anything much about liberal causes that are important to us. Remember she voted for the war in Iraq (she had to vote for it before she could vote against it - just kidding) - I don't see much difference, she seems to care more about catering to the rich, to appealing to people just becuase the polls say she should and she stands for nothing. She's like a woman that goes out and says she can be bought with a price, who is the highest bidder She just changes to fit the polls and stands for nothing. She might as well ber GOP - just like them. Comments??

not true - some politicians study the polls and the do whatever the polls say - and there are on occasion politicians who are people of integrity who have tings they stand for. People like Harry Truman and the like.

But none of these people now is a Harry Truman.

I am not on drugs - you can answer a question without insulting me

I agree with some things she does, but what bothers me about our political system is that we vote for these people but they dont' represent OUR interest. Companies give money to them and they represent THEIR interests. Hardly fair. So I don't trust or believe any of them.

just listen to her, she;s trying to appeal to the right she spends very little time talking aboutl liberal issues - ok people don't beleve me - that's ok.

I would say she is spending 80% or more of her time trying to appeal to the right right now.

you can't appeal to both sides without offending one. I can't understand why the right would vote for her. But she's pretty slick. Everything she does is carefully calculated.

her health care plan is based on Italy's plan - and her economic plan was also based on 1930's Italy - under Facist control. I'm not sure if people knew that.

Hillary was at one time a Republican, however I would not claim her as one of my party. She has a whole different agenda, and she goes any way she needs to get the vote. Socialist is more her affiliation.

No,

Is there any politicians who doesn't do all that stuff? Why is Obama, Edwards and others coming out strong on religion? Edwards even say prayers during some visits & meeting. I'll be surprise if there are any politicians who doesn't make any calculated moves to earn votes.

Like 99% of law makers never read NIE on Iraq WMD before voting on Iraq War. And probably over 99% of news headlines supported WMD. Including NYT and Oprah Winfrey. If just couple of items turn people into Republican then anybody can be Republican.

Don't think that religious voters thing is Republican thing. It once used to be Democrat thing. Jimmy Carter, a Democrat got full support of evangelical Christians and that helped him win the presidency. Then Democrats slowly lost those religious votes later years to Republicans.

Is Mitt Romney Democrat because he once was pro choice? And Giuliani Democrat too because he support women's right to chose? What about Cheney who support his lesbian daughter's right to adapt kids and marry another woman? That doesn't make him liberal Democrat.

There is no single hot button issue that make you Democrat or Republican. This is extremely superficial way to distinguish these 2 parties.

Hillary definitely is the best chance conservatives have at maintaining an influence in the white house in 2009.She's nowhere near a liberal. It's a bit laughable to see people who just as easily call her a socialist when it suits them say she's is owned by big money now.
I have many doubts and reservations about Hilary. The biggest advantage I thinks she has on other Democrats is her and her husbands political talent.I don't want the perfect Democratic candidate(closest to my opinions and idea's)and end up with another GOP figure head in the white house in 2009.
I believe Hilary can win

Yes...She's another one in the pockets of Corporate America.

I can respect anyone's right to an opinion but I can't and won't respect an opinion I disagree with. You can expect to hear my criticisms loud and clear and I personally think think she flip-flops way to much and is a poor excuse for a Democrat, a politician, and a statesperson. She wants the White House bad and if you don't like my diatribe you can kiss my a**

I would still vote for her before any of the Repugnant candidates as a last choice but I really hope it doesn't come to that. I'd much prefer to see Dennis Kucinich win the Presidency for he does stand on the issues I support him and I don't think he changes his positions frequently. He is a LIBERAL and I'll support him until the Green Party is validated and has a candidate.

#1con...don't call her a socialist for I'm a socialist and resent that remark. You're evidently another misguided , misrepresented and misaligned bigot.

DeeB ... You're a dingbat

She's just taking cues from her husband. She did do a good thing and vote FOR the John Doe Amendment which would protect good people from frivilous lawsuits from such despicable people as the imams who wher trying to push and see how far they could go. Do you disagree with her vote and why? Are you for terrorist rights?

In many ways she is trying to pander to the "moderates" but making it appear she has very right wing ideas. Unfortunatly that makes me disagree with her even more.

Ahhhhhh.. So SOME of you are finally waking up, eh? She is OWNED by big business. Most of us realize that and yet others refuse to see the truth.

Scary, isn't it?

Judging from the first sentence of your "question", I think you are a little unclear on what a politician is.

Please stay off drugs prior to asking questions on YA.

Hillary Clinton is vile, corrupt, hateful, dishonest, anti-American, and just pure evil. In other words, the ideal Democrat.
