Yamaha is the best big bike 2 stroke. but if u r going for a 85 then u should ride a Kawasaki or Suzuki. they r the easiest to ride.

i have a 98cr250r,very fast.vert reliable, ive had it for 2.5 years and ive only had to rebuild the rear shork and fork seals up front. sprokets/chain anti freeze, air filter and some lube.runs like a champ.highly recommended, i ride hard at least twice a month,6 hours each time.thats alot of hours and no engine/trans problems at all.

dude was right about the handleing, its real good.

Honda
Most reliable of that era.
Speed wise, the 4 Jap manufactures all fairly equal, but Honda beats them all in the handling department.

depends what size....
65 & 85: Suzuki
125: Yamaha
higher than 125.... Suzuki!
Suzuki is best 2- stroke except for 125
