I support the harshest punishment available for this ****** if he's found guilty in a court of law.

I don't support dog fighting, but I do think Vick was a very good athelete. I suspect he is guilty but I am not willing to condemn him until he has his trial. I also think that he is attracting a lot more attention than he warrants because he is black and famous. Rush Limbaugh's comments on Donovan McNabb is a good example of the mindset of a lot of whites, to whit, a successful black person needs to be knocked down, shown his 'place.'

If Vick is guilty, he deserves to be punished. Is dog fighting worse than torturing people? No.

I have never really like Michael Vick....just never was a fan. But I honestly think there are worse things in the world, like another answerer said...pedophiles and people like that. I feel that people have already "convicted" him when its supposed to be innocent until proven guilty, with him its like guilty until proven innocent.

I've seen so little support for Vick that I assumed he must be white (I don't follow sports, so I didn't know). Obviously abusing dogs is a more egregious offense than abusing people, but he may still avoid prison, because he can afford the best lawyers.

Me a suppoter of Vick??? NO WAY! They said he isn't guilty but we all know he is. He better watch his back though. There will prob be serious consequences if he starts it up again! What he did was wrong and he knows it! By the way great question!!

Women being killed by their husbands. Pedophiles in the Church molesting children. Service men dying in Iraq for nothing. People in America going to bed hungry. People betting on dog fights is the big story? Pit bulls are dangerous dogs let them fight. Michael Vick is nothing in the big picture of life.

the saddest part of this is if he weren't famous, this crime against helpless animals would not be in the news. If he is guilty, he should do time.
