It is really just a matter of time, history proves that. As far as civilization go. Look at how many civilizations developed, yet only to fall? Just look at history. Something will happen unless humanity changes! I know this only gives you more questions than a answer.

The fact that you are asking this question means that you, and thus humanity in general already realizes that we are self destructive.
That doesn't mean that we can do anything about it though. As individuals, we can curb our own tendencies for self destruction, but as humanity in general ..... well, lets just say that it is a pretty hopeless situation at the moment.

My friend I am exactly like you I hate the world for what it is and human kind for being focused only on survival individually rather than collectively, I hate the way manipulation of dreams by one to another is taking place almost every second, And i hate the fact that humans are collectively a stupid retard eating itself, being fully aware of the pain it is causing itself, it is such a waste. how religion was created just to create fear within the hearts of humans and to control there desires which by the way is a gift and a curse. But you have to understand, all the universal issues are indeed the roots of your composition as an individual, you are linked to the issues you ponder whether you ignore them or concentrate on them deeply and it is reality, and i believe it is better to try to figure out what the meaning of this nonsense is then to take a dick up the *** every now and then. I have however had to conform to the grass root thinkings of normal people who talk about issues surrounding who is the hottest girl, what is the best song out, who did you sleep with last night, and it can be frustrating but it has to be done in order to survive and maybe one day figuring it all out. I suggest you do not exspell your universal thinkings completely instead switch from one way of thinking to another frequently. I guarantee you will not be able to start caring about your individual existence the way you perhaps did before you you began pondering wider issues, but you can compress your wider views or prospone them for a later date, remember in order to get rich some rappers sell drugs before they can get a record deal and do what they really want to do, rap. right now I think you should sell drugs even though it is agaist the law and you feel bad about it, in order to get where you are going you must. good luck
