Absolutely! I have learned so many things; regarding so much of life. I also go and look at resolved questions, and learn more there.

I also get to see a good cross-section of opinions when I read various answers. I think that this is a wonderful site, which teaches a lot. It's even helped me understand my (grown) children much better than I ever did before.

Yes. I think that's what this site is all about. By asking others' opinions you get a better understanding of other ways of thinking, different paths of thought and different understandings of the world. However, I dislike the questions that have a clear, common sensical answer; ones that don't require much thought.

Yes, I agree, but it's amazing how many people won't ask because they don't want to appear stupid. (I'm guilty of that.)
