If drugs were legalised gangs would lose their raison'd'etre. Or maybe we could tame/contain them by creating a new reality show - Gangland Shootout - it could be structured like a real computer game, and the contestant left alive at the end wins a recording contract.
I used to amuse myself by inventing ridiculous fantasy reality shows that could never really happen in true life - but since Celebrity Love Island I've realised that nothing is beyond the pale.

I think it is a bad thing. A16 year old black school boy was shot by a gang on bikes.
Abuker Mohamud,had never been in any trouble was a good student, and won a place at a college to study science.
I was reading about what his mother said in this morning Newspaper. His mother and the rest of his family are broken hearted, this was a lovely, and brainy boy who done nothing to deserve being shot to death.
What is going on now in Britain is pure evil, and it should be stopped now.

No it is not a good thing if only because in the end innocent people get caught up in it, to the detriment of society in general.
People forget that once a bad route is taken it is very hard indeed to get yourself back on track. those trying do not "deserve" help they need it in the same way as most of us do not "deserve" food and shelter but need it

I wouldn't mind them killing each other if they were only affected themselves. But they sell drugs to kids and sometimes force little kids to run drugs for them. And they force little kids to join their gangs. Plus a lot of their initiation practices harm innocent people, such as robbing, beating or raping people outside the gang.
