My criminal record is for misdemeanor-under influence of a controlled substance.

1. It is not worth your TIME, let alone your money to seal that record.
2. Even if your record can be sealed, the court does not charge to seal a record.
3. The attorney you hire to get the record sealed is free to set whatever rates they wish.
4. If an employer asks if you have EVER been convicted, a sealed conviction is STILL a conviction.

I used that website http://www.echeck.pcti-system.com .. the one referenced by that detective guy. I found exactly what I was looking for. So much for Mr Right, or rather Mr Convicted Felon with 2 Liens against him totaling over 30,000$ and an ex-wife I never knew about!! Thank God I found out the truth before it was too late. We were almost engaged!!

in most states you cannot. whynot ask the local courts about an expungement. most mis are expungable after a few years.
