Makes me laugh, age is in the eye of the beholder. My good friend and I went to the horse races, the young gal at the ticket booth said are you sr. citizens, I said yes, and kicked my friend at the same time, we were 47 got in for free. Took my daughter and her friend to the fair once I was 43, the gal at the booth said yes, I said well I'm their grandma and they are twins 9, and I winked at her--the girls were short and blonde and way tall and dark haired--they were 14--the gal in the booth giggled and said when were they born I said 1980, she said I like it and laughed and gave us a discount to get in.

At whatever age it suits. Then change your mind next day if circumstances warrant it.
I suppose if it's for serious or legal reasons it's when you reach pensionable age.

Someone answered 55. LOL I passed it years ago and truthfully didn't know. Had to read it on here to find out. You never get too old to learn.

For this answer, just check out the search engine under this section...it has been asked so many times, answered so many times, that it is now redundant. Good luck
