For about a month now everytime I go to the bathroom to do number 2 it hurts really really bad and usually I bleed. I am not having like huge poops or anything but for some reason it hurts like its scraping or scratching inside of me and when I wipe there is usually blood, and the blood is bright red. So can anyone tell me what it might be and should I go to the doctor for this. Also when I pee I dont have blood.

It sounds like an anal fissure, that just my guess. That means a tear of the epithelium (skin) in your rectum. It probably happened from straining at the toilet, and not enough fiber in your diet. Drinking water helps too. Eat more fruits and vegetables and a lot less starch. (Just one example When you go to Panda Express for example, get the vegetables instead of rice or chow mein).

Most important, don't strain on the toilet - ever. Sit up straight and tell it come out naturally - not push hard - you're not giving birth. Eating more natural foods will help that. Less fat!

Be good to yourself - eating a bad diet is self-abuse.

You either have a hemeroid that is bleeding or anal fissures. Usually if you see blood that is a rich red that is the case. You can usually feel hemiroids.

In both cases you might have some bad bowel habits...straining too hard. Also wiping too hard can cause bleeding. Or just not eating enough fiber and drinking enough water.

Drink more water whichs helps with constipation. Don't go to the bathroom unless you have to (i,e, don't force it) and don't spend hours reading on the bowl. Get it done and get it going. Try some preperation H if it's a hemi. Get some wet wipes and let it heal.

Hemmorrhoids. You're not getting enough fiber. Try fiber capsules from Wal-Mart, or there's a new product called miralax. It will make things go, but nice and softly and comfortably. If you've been trying this for a couple of weeks and you're still bleeding or if your bleeding increases, time to see the dr.

This happened to me quite often, Theres nothing to be embarrased about, it is just that the anus stretches and sometimes it can be very tight and can stretch causing blood.
Believe me, It happened to me regularly. When I was about four years old I had become constipated because I was too scared to excrete because of the pain so I had to be given an enema. I suggest you see your doctor. Don't be worried though your not going to die! Good luck

P.S: It is NOT hemmoroids because you would be able to feel them

bright red blood is less dangerous/likely to be a serious problem than dark red, but you should mention it to your doctor anyway. in the meantime- you probably just need to increase your fiber so you wont be semi-constipated. that causes tight, dry stools that cause pain and bleeding due to all of the straining. add fruit, green veggies (spinach) and even a high fiber cereal bar like fiber one.

It won't be anything to do with sexual activity 6 months ago. Most likely a fissure - if you had hemmoroids you'd have an itchy/sore point that you'd notice every time you sat down.

Sounds like you have hemorrhoids. If you are not sure I think you should go to the doctors and find out.

This sounds like hemorrhoids. That is not very serious, but needs to be taking care of. Go to see a doctor by all means. Cheque out this website, please.

go to the doctor, it may be that you just need a stool softener, but if I was you I would make an appointment just to be safe.
