I think that it would be a good thing! When you have people like Skinhead Charlie asking questions like "Would you laugh if you saw a black baby sitting in a cornfield in the path of a combine?" then yeah, it's a good idea. Yes, that's what they "Abuse" page is for, but sometimes people just ask really stupid questions that deserve a thumbs down. I completely agree with you.

As far as the lack of answers if there was the choice of a thumbs down, it's possible. But if someone does ask that bad a question and it receives lots of thumbs downs, then the asker obviously doesn't deserve an answer. That's what you get!

Well, we used to be able to give questions thumbs-ups and thumbs-downs before they were replaced by the stars... I personally liked the thumbs-ups and downs option for questions better.
